Good morning boys and girls, this has been a prolific week for the ignorant and for the educated alike, that either don’t understand or refused to accept reality.
Jeanna, (The Epitome of Black).
You keep saying that you’re not a racist, but everything you write says you are.
Black people are not base, contemptible, despicable, dirty, disreputable, evil and so on. We are no different than white people.
Hello Jeanna, thank you for visiting my site and thank you for your narrative. With that said, in coming to a conclusion as to who “you” are, (not black folks in general), you are different, at least you are different from me as you display your failure to understand the English language, even when I supply you with dictionary definitions, ..bummer.
I would truly like to spend the time to explain my writing to you and my meanings, albeit as I have no solid proof that there’s that much time left in the universe, I believe it would be more productive to move on to my next antagonist.
Michael, (The Epitome of Black).
As an educator I would give you a AAA plus for this article, as a black man who deals with arrogant white people every day, I believe you are no different than every other arrogant white person that believes he knows what it is to be black.
Hello Michael, thank you for visiting my site and thank you for your narrative and for your opinion.
As an individual with an innate proclivity for detecting anger in people, (regardless) of their heritage, ..if I were inclined to critique you as a human being, ..I would definitely judge you to be “base,” “objectionable,” and “unbecoming,” the station of an educator.
Question: Where in this article did I attest to knowing what it is to be black?
Communication is difficult enough in our 21st Century society without people who don’t understand the English language.
Fern and Dale, (The Epitome of Black).
My husband and I are liberals that Barack Obama converted to conservatives and we’ve been reading your blog since last summer.
We love everything you write because, you’re so clear and precise with the material you provide.
Hello Fern and Dale, thank you for your patronage and your participation and for the accolades.
This hasn’t been a good week for accolades, 🙂 Chuck.
Don’t you have anything to do other than inform people that you don’t like Barack Obama.
Hello Sabina, thank you for visiting my site and thank you for your question.
To which I gleefully reply; “No,” I have nothing else to do. (Or more correctly), I have nothing else that I would rather do.
As my options this time of year (winter), are shoveling snow off my driveway, ..or watching television.
Franklin, (Affinity or Infinity).
Hello webmaster, I’ve been attending your blog for almost a year and it is wonderful for me to read. In my country there is no common sense and there is no freedom that you have in America.
Please keep telling the people in your country not to vote for socialism, it is not good and it is not fair.
Hello Franklin, thank you for visiting my site and thank you for hanging around and thank you for your powerful words.
As you did not identify your country by name, I will assume that it is a Western European nation as Western European nations seem to be dominated by socialism.
In my quest to wake America up to the ills of socialism and communism my prime rhetoric on this behalf is; …
“Man is not his brother’s keeper”
In my seventy-three years on this planet I’ve come to know that man’s (proclivity for charity) dismisses any need for big brother mandates.
Man is lazy and unproductive when he has nothing to do.
Man is at his worst when his ambition is met.
Bob, (Affinity or Infinity).
Well said! I have felt for a very long time that part of what ails us in America is the focus on our differences instead of on our similarities.
As long as we have individuals in the lime light shouting our the differences we will see ourselves divided into classes, races, sects, and genders.
When we focus on each person as an important individual then the lines fade. The government taking upon itself an identity different than the people begins to spout the idea, “the people belong to it” instead of the other way around.
Thus Big Government decides what is best for us and individual responsibility is thrown away. We all become Zombies to be eaten or otherwise expended by the monster.
Just sayin’. Thanks for the post.
Hello Bob, again thank you for your participation and for your narrative.
Alluding to the reality of our new millennium, and/or, the 21st Century. It has been a sad beginning with George W. Bush, (the decider), followed by Barack Obama, (the divider).
Were it that I had access to Harry Potter’s magic wand, I would immediately waive it, tap it three times and resurrect…
..to straighten this mess out, albeit then of course, being that this is the 21st Century, ..with technologies that would likely stymie him, I think it would be a better idea to simply enlist…
(Judge Jeanine Pirro).
Because when ya ponder it, “firecrackers” and “rough riders” aren’t that much different at the end of the day.
Joy, (I Swear).
As a middle school teacher in California, although I wasn’t shocked by the Oak Park incident, it did sadden me, not only for my state, but for this nation.
My lineage in America extends back to ancestors that were freed by the Emancipation Proclamation, yes I’m black.
I became aware of your website on Facebook from your wife Linda, when she and I shared an interest in Farmtown more than two years ago, I read your blog every day.
Linda was a genuine pleasure and so are you.
Hello joy, and if I may? Receiving this comment from you is a genuine pleasure, thank you.
My purpose with my writing, (such as it is), being completely honest, (when it comes to proper English), I still don’t know the difference between a pipe wrench and a participle, but I do enjoy the endeavor.
America has been good to me, even though we’ve had our disagreements, (the Vietnam War), and every war sense, I always had a job when I wanted one, beginning with raking the leaves around Lupe’s Café in Thousand Oaks Ca., at the age of seven until my official retirement in 1992. Thus I don’t understand folks that don’t like to work.
Work not only gives you wings, it also provides you with the wherewithal to pay your rent 🙂
Again, it has been a genuine pleasure, drop-in again real soon, Chuck.
David, (On Loan).
Your best yet.
Hello David, by way of explanation, for David’s (three words) and/or, (at least a clarification) David is one of my oldest and dearest friends and (huntin’ buddy) and “use-to be” neighbor here in God’s country, ..or the upper Midwest.
David now lives in Florida and has thawed out, so he’ll talk your ear off on the tele-ma-phone for hours, ..albeit when it comes to directing his digits on a keyboard, he’s extremely shy.
Thank you for the comment David, ..it’s a treasure 🙂
Rwanda, (Not everyone drank the Kool-Aid).
You and “Uncle Tom” Williams are a perfect match, you’re both bigots and racists, but he’s worse because he should know better.
Hello Rwanda, thank you for visiting my site and thank you for your narrative.
A question if I may? Do I detect a taste of bitterness in your mouth.
In my short acquaintanceship with Mr. E.T. Williams and the knowledge that he imparts to his peers and to the public are facts particular to identifying the inadequacies and ideology of America’s current president.
Which, unless they have revoked the First Amendment in the last 24 hours, he and I both have a perfect right to do so.
As I have said many times, America is the greatest nation on the planet and our First Amendment is one of the reasons for that.
In America, if an individual doesn’t want to be “exposed ” as a “fraud” or “inadequate,” all he or she has to do is follow the rules and do the work.
Performing behind a mask works for a clown, …
..but (not so much) for a President.
Truth forges understanding, I’ll be back tomorrow
