According to Webster: “black,” (basic) adj. Being of the color black, producing little light and having no predominate hue.
Also according to Webster, and every dictionary published in the English language, synonyms and related words for black are less than flattering.

Consequently, if you subscribe to the English language as described in a (Webster’s), dictionary for communication, the synonyms and the related words that I have provided above are what you have to choose from, ..that is, ..if you want to present yourself as competent.
Although the issue is skirted in a number of verses, there is no direct or specific reference to black people in the Bible.
Quite simply because God does not discriminate and neither do “honest” human beings.
Question: Is Al Sharpton a good person and a man of God?
According to the New York daily news.com the good Rev. Al Sharpton celebrated his 60th birthday this year by throwing himself a party at the luxurious Four Seasons Restaurant in Manhattan.
An event that was enjoined by pretty much everyone who is anyone in America’s liberal social set, to include a surrogate for Barack Obama who carried an inspirational message.
Apparently, the fact that the good Rev. Al Sharpton owes in excess of $450 million in back income taxes isn’t a concern to America’s current Commander in Chief?
Hey, I didn’t write the dictionary nor did I take part in writing the Bible, otherwise both volumes would contain a lot more common sense and a lot less misinterpretation.
For my purpose on this particular occasion, I would like to example; “good and evil.”
In Western society, and/or, culture, it is accepted by a great number of people that, …
..black cats are bad luck?
According to Webster: “luck,” (in context) n. The chance happening of good fortunate or of an adverse event.
Whether you catalog luck and fortune under the title of myth or superstition it doesn’t really matter, as few folks don’t fully understand the difference…
According to Webster: “myth,” (in context) n. A traditional, typically ancient story dealing with supernatural beings, ancestors, or heroes that serves as a fundamental type in the world view of a people, as by explaining aspects of the natural world or delineating the psychology, customs, or ideals of society.
(The Grim Reaper).
According to Webster: “su·per·sti·tion,” (in context) n. An irrational belief that an object, an action, or a circumstance not logically related to a course of events influences its outcome.
As memory is an extremely unreliable entity, especially in someone who turned seventy-three the day after Christmas, I choose to relate that I was told about the ill effects of black cats somewhere around the same time that I learned, that I shouldn’t poke hairpins into electrical outlets.
Life is learning and none of us are immune to it, whether you’re a child learning that you shouldn’t poke hairpins into electrical outlets, or you’re an adult living in America learning that the president of this nation isn’t an island unto himself.
In life, everyone essentially affects the life of another person at some level and the more “accountable” your station, the more you affect others.
When the President of the United States makes a comment in public, whether he’s stating that he is the president and he can do what ever he wants, or he volunteers off-the-cuff that if he had a son, ..he would be like Trayvon Martin.
His words are picked up and reverberated via the media to everyone on the planet with an electrical outlet or a smart phone.
Truth: In (the real world), Trayvon Martin was a very troubled young man with a juvenile police record, ..not a choir boy.
Truth: In (the real world), Michael Brown was shot and killed in the act of assaulting a police officer and failing to heed the officers instructions to cease and desist.
In the real world when an individual, be he meek or the most powerful man in the world, when the odds are against you, it is pure ignorance to believe that you are invincible.
Albeit our traditions and literature promote the concept that black is something to be feared, ..it is not.
Batman wears “black” and (who doesn’t) set on the edge of their seat to cheer him on when he’s thrashing the Riddler or saving a damsel in distress?
Truth: In (the real world), black men and women are just that, “black men and women,” with lives like everyone else.
Black people feel joy, love, hate, pain, anger, disappointment and rejection the same as white people, or Brown people, or red people, or purple people…
Well, maybe not as much as purple people, because purple people have the additional fear of…
..one eyed, one horned, flying purple people eaters.
Albeit as Franklin Delano Roosevelt so eloquently put it in his first inaugural address; …
Which of course, (at least in my considered opinion), no truer words have ever been spoken by mankind as “fear,” ..is now elevated in our society and culture to a level of absurdity as we currently use the word…
..to identify everything from children bullying each other on the Internet to its most outrageous use, ..to describe human beings “killing” one other.
On September 11, 2001, more than 3000 American citizens were murdered by a group of disgruntled Muslims.
According to Webster: “mur·der,” (in context) n. The unlawful killing of one human being by another.
America needs to get back to reality, a “terrorist” ..is nothing more than a (criminal), same as an “undocumented” worker is an illegal alien.
Notwithstanding, this little guy has a fistful of switchblades, as God provided for his survival, however when shown love and kindness, all of God’s creatures will reciprocate in kind.
Truth forges understanding, I’ll be back tomorrow
