According to Webster: “im·age,” (in context) n. An earned or deserved representation of character.

Question: How can anyone represent anyone, or a “Nation,” when he, she or they don’t have the (intellectual capacity) to express themselves competently without a Teleprompter?

Without a Teleprompter, Barack Obama’s oratory skills are (indeed), that of a mumbling stumbling stuttering frightened four-year-old.

FIRST UP…

Harold from Gloucester,             (Love thy Neighbor).

I began reading your blog on Tuesday and so far I’ve found it to cover Obama both jocularly and frightening, great job. I can hardly wait for tomorrow, thank you for the great read.

Hello Harold, thank you for visiting my site and thank you for your comment and your accolade. I enjoy “humor” and use it often to inform America’s population just how “un-humorous” Barack Obama in the Oval Office actually is.

Although neither Barack Obama, nor Isis has the capacity to eliminate America from the world stage, which (in my opinion), is the intention of both, neither has the ability, (intellectually or physically), to get the job done.

Albeit they both “currently” have the reach to do great harm.

WELCOME

Tamara from Carson,   (What is Amazing and what is Not).

I’ve been following your website since January so my first question in my first comment is; when are you going to start putting the graphics and pictures in again?

The last thing I want to do is hurt your feelings, but reading your articles without your graphics and pictures is like going to a beach without an ocean.

IN REPLY

Hello Tamara, thank you for your sponsorship and thank you for your narrative. With that said; “I totally agree with you.”

For me, (being denied the use of my imagination), is not only like going to a beach without an ocean, it’s like being locked in a dark place without either.

WELCOME

Willie from Fort Lewis,             (And the beat goes on).

A lot of us here read your blog and all of us want to know when it’s going to go back to the way it was? If your provider can’t fix what’s wrong, get a new provider.

Hello Willie, thank you for appreciating my blather and thank you for your service. With that said; Leaving my post wasn’t an option when I was in the Army and I’m still that same guy, just a hell-of-a-lot older. Chuck.

WELCOME

April from Newberry Park,             (Yesterday),

As a longtime reader, more than two years, I want Crusader Rabbit back, I don’t like Darth Lepus, he looks too much like someone that would belong to Isis.

Hello April, thank you for patronizing my site and thank you for your narrative.

Decision..

According to Webster: “de·ci·sion,” n. The act of reaching a conclusion or making up one’s mind.

One of the things I remember “vividly” during our (lead from behind) commander-in-chief’s campaign for the White House and 2008, was his “usage” of the word (delegating) when he was asked about his experience and qualifications to handle the complexities and responsibilities required to set behind the desk in the Oval Office.

According to Webster: “del·e·gate.” (In context) n. A person authorized to send (another person) as one’s representative.

Delegating, (at least in my opinion) is the principal quality of an individual or an entity that lacks the substance to step up and be counted, a quality “more often than not” acquired via academia.

During my service in Vietnam the most noticeable difference between those of us that engage the enemy and those of us that delegated us to engage the enemy was academia.

My battalion commander was a graduate of West Point, so he called the shots, and/or, (delegated) who did what when and where on any particular day, while those of us with less academic history were used as “fodder” in the futile exercise of one “idealistic” (pompous ass) to overcome the “ideology” of another (pompous ass).

According to Webster: “fod·der,” (in context) A consumable, often inferior item or resource that is in demand and usually in abundant supply.

Although I totally agree that America (is not) at this moment, (7:37 AM), on Saturday, August 30, 2014, dealing with the aftermath of a cowardly “Islamic jihad offensive,” I am fully aware that the spectators on the sidewalks and the runners in the street at the Boston marathon believed the same thing at (2:48 PM), on April 15, 2013, one “placid ” minute before the pressure cooker bombs placed by the craven (Tsarnaev brothers) detonated.

Question: Is Isis, the (Islamic State in Syria), “capable” of an assault on American citizens in America?

For the sake of fairness, let’s go with multiple-choice as not to discriminate against those of the liberal persuasion…

If you trust in Barack Obama’s unwavering (let’s wait and see) policy, then by all means, vote no.

However, for those of you that don’t park your “brain” near your “colon” and have a grasp on the reality that irregardless of your neighbor’s appearance, he or she could currently be building an (IED) in their basement, vote yes.

Question of the Day, – America vs Isis ?

On the news this morning, one talking head “explicating” to another; “Do you think Obama will take action against Isis?

Question: Are America’s “mainstream media” talking heads out to lunch?

Being familiar with Barack Obama’s “Moxie” as I am, ..it is beyond me why his (devoted disciples) in the “mainstream media” could be so “cavalier,” ..and/or, “stupid” ..as to field such a question.

According to Webster: “mox·ie,” n. Slang. The ability to face difficulty with spirit and courage.

Of course America is (not) going to “challenge” Isis, ..think about it? How embarrassing that would be for America, a nation of [three hundred and fifteen hundred million] people with the most advanced military technology and weapons on the planet led by a “wimpy” commander-in-chief who has yet to cross one of his red lines in the sand.

I can see the headlines now…

Handful of ragtag Arabs with AK-47s defeat America !

An Army is only as strong as its leader and when you have a “commander-in-chief” that has unequivocally pledged; …

“America is not at war with Islam, ..and America will never be at war with Islam.”

..you’re “defeeted” before you begin, and/or, (more correctly), with Isis, and/or,  the ” Islamic State,” ..you’re “BEHEADED.”

Yesterday..

According to Webster: “yes·ter·day, n. The day before the present day. 2. A short while ago.

Yesterday I provided the definition and history for the word “Wednesday,” as an “exercise,” and/or, a “venture” into the (psyche) of my readers.

According to Webster: “psy·che,” n. The mind functioning at the center of thought, emotion, and behavior, to consciously or unconsciously adjust or mediate the body’s responses to a social and physical environment.

In essence, yesterday’s offering had absolutely no probative value in my crusade to wake America up to the fact that this nation, (a nation historically under God), is “currently” under the administration of Barack Obama, a (self-indulgent elitist), is unequivocally in more danger of extinction than it has ever been in its 238 year history.

According to Webster: “pro·ba·tive,” adj. Serving to test, try, or to prove.

I have currently spent more than three years in this effort to learn that you, “The American Public,” simply don’t care.

Yet, am I “detoured” from my mission, and/or, my crusade?

According to Webster: “de·tour,” n. A deviation from a direct course of action.

Not in the least, ..I’ll quit when God quits!

And the beat goes on..

According to Webster: “Wednes·day,”n. The fourth day of the week. [Middle English, from Old English W½dnesdæg, Woden’s day. See wet-1 below.]

————————————————————

WORD HISTORY: We say the names of the days of the week constantly, but for most of us they are nonsense syllables.

The seven-day system we use is based on the ancient astrological notion that the seven celestial bodies (the sun, the moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn) revolving around stationary Earth influence what happens on it and that each of these celestial bodies controls the first hour of the day named after it.

This system was brought into Hellenistic Egypt from Mesopotamia, where astrology had been practiced for millenniums and where seven had always been a propitious number.

In A.D. 321 the Emperor Constantine the Great grafted this astrological system onto the Roman calendar, made the first day of this new week a day of rest and worship for all, and imposed the following sequence and names to the days of the week:

“Sun’s Day”; and/or, Sunday. (Works for me).

“Moon’s Day”; and/or, Monday.   (I can deal).

“Mars’s Day”; and/or, Tuesday.   (No way).

“Mercury’s Day”; and/or, Wednesday.   (Worse yet).

“Jupiter’s Day”; and/or, Thursday.   (Not even close).

“Venus’s Day”; and/or, Friday.   (Are you kidding me).

“Saturn’s Day.” and/or, Saturday.   (In the ballpark).

This new Roman system was adopted with modifications throughout most of western Europe.

in the Germanic languages, such as Old English, the names of four of the Roman gods were converted into those of the corresponding Germanic gods.

Therefore in Old English we have the following names (with their Modern English developments):

Sunnandæg, Sunday;  (Old English is weird).

M½nandæg, Monday;    (like I said).

Tºwesdæg, Tuesday; (the god Tiu, like Mars, was a god of war).

W½dnesdæg, Wednesday; (the god Woden, like Mercury, was quick and eloquent).

Thunresdæg, Thursday; (the god Thunor in Old English or Thor in Old Norse, like Jupiter, was lord of the sky; Old Norse Th½rsdagr influenced the English form).

Frºgedæg, Friday (the goddess Frigg, like Venus, was the goddess of love).

Saeternesdæg, Saturday. (It was a process). 🙂

As for me, ..being a traditional conservative, I prefer the time-honored cliché…

HUMP DAY.

What is Amazing, and what is Not..

According to Webster: “a·maz·ing,” To affect with great wonder; astonish.

Question: Is anyone out there, (or more correctly), is anyone out there that reads what I write “affected” with great wonder or astonished?

I’ve been publishing my thoughts and opinions for more than three years to date and my attendance “worldwide” (that I’m aware of), is between eight hundred and a thousand people.

Question: Why do you suppose that is?

Is it apathy, stupidity or simply indifference to the world at large as long as the world at large doesn’t affect the next five minutes of your life?

According to FBI statistics, (14,827) people were murdered in the United States of America last year. [2013]

Question: Is 14,827 a large number?

According to CDC.gov, (3,957,577) children were born in the United States of America last year. [2013]

Consequently, (at least statistically), human beings, and/or, Homo sapiens are still replacing themselves at a greater rate than we are “murdering” each other.

So do the statistics indicate that “we” human beings, and/or, Homo sapiens are secure in our future because we “create” more lives than we destroy?

Question: How many of you currently have an “opinion,” (one way or the other), about the “ongoing investigation” into (the shooting) of Michael Brown in Ferguson Missouri?

Question: How many of you know the names of the (14,827) individuals that were murdered in America last year. [2013]

Question: How many of you know how many Americans (the true number) are currently unemployed?

Question: How many of you know how many “illegal aliens,” (the true number), have entered the United States in your lifetime?

Question: How many of you (natural born citizens) know how many (foreign nationals) have been granted U.S. citizenship outside the parameters of immigration protocols?

Prime Example: Following World War II the U.S. government granted citizenship to a number of German scientists in exchange for their assistance in developing “our” rocket technology.

America has a long history of providing asylum and granting citizenship under (special circumstances), ..yet not once, (at least to my knowledge), have the representatives of “We the People,” ever asked, “We the People,” how we feel about the decisions that they make.

According to the U.S. Constitution, America is a Democratic Republic, a form of government which derives its power, not from itself, but from the people.

“We the People,” choose the men and women that we elect to represent us, (to manage the nation’s business, and/or, to manage the People’s business), their job is not to prosecute an individual or personal agenda.

Question: How many of you know that when Barack Obama signed (his) “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act” into law, (seventy percent) of America’s population was opposed to it?

Question: How many of you know that President Woodrow Wilson, in 1913, (a progressive Democrat), sold the rights to print and value America’s currency, (in direct violation of the U.S. Constitution), to a private entity, (The Federal Reserve Banking System), for the sum of $450 million.

Question: How many of you know that the “U.S. taxpayers,” and/or, “We the People,” paid the Federal Reserve Banking System the sum of $280 billion (in interest alone), on money that the U.S. government borrowed from the U.S. Treasury, and/or, from the “Federal Reserve Banking System,” and/or, (from ourselves) in 2010?

Final Question: How many of you reading what I write truly understand what’s happening beyond your personal space?

Premature..

According to Webster: “pre·ma·ture,” Occurring, growing, or existing before the customary, correct, or assigned time.

On Sunday, August 23, I (unexpectedly) received an email from WordPress.com support…

I’d been receiving updates pretty much every day since the current support technician began working on my inability to (add media) to my offerings. So I was moderately satisfied that the attention being paid to my (broken) facilities were progressing?

Then on Sunday I received a…

Which of course I am pleased to supply.

I give the WordPress support staff my most glowing kudos for ambition and tenacity…

As to solving the issue, to date, “well as you can see,” there are no graphics in today’s offering, nevertheless as I am a kind and benevolent old man, I  can justify stretching my benevolence to provide…
