Carol from Bay City,       (Readers Forum – Commitment).

I’ve been leaving comments for six weeks now in an effort to get picked for your Readers Forum. All my comments have been positive and supportive. Why haven’t you picked me?

readers forum - as I see it 3

Hello Carol, your comments have not gone unnoticed, albeit with that said, although your comments have been positive and supportive, the people I choose to “use” in my forum are people that go beyond “I love what you write.”

Although I’m grateful for your participation and your support, think about how much easier my life would be (and yours), if you added something about yourself?

Do you like piña colada’s?

Do you like walking in the rain?

Give an old man a break, I am good at what I do, ..albeit it’s so much easier when I know what I’m doing 🙂

Come back when you have more to say, Chuck.

Darlene from Allentown,                 (Character).

How can you keep saying that you’re not a bigot and a hater when you continue to compare Barack Obama to Hitler and other horrible people from history?

readers forum - as I see it 3

Hello Darlene, thank you for visiting my site and thank you for your comment and I will thank you again if you will take the time to look at who Barack Obama is, instead of seeing him as he told you he is.

Disney whirlwind graphic

Whirlwinds are indeed fascinating from a distance, …

giphy

..however when a whirlwind graduates to a tornado, it leaves very little undamaged in its path.

If you check my archives, you will find that I’ve unequivocally never denied being a bigot…

According to Webster: “big·ot,” n. One who is strongly partial to one’s own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ.

As to your accusation that I am a hater, you couldn’t be more wrong. I fought beside black men in Vietnam and I loved ‘em all.

You don’t seem to be at all confused about color, albeit with that said you don’t seem to have a clue when it comes to the definition of character.

The men I stood beside in Vietnam had grit and an affection for each other that Barack Obama has never known and will never know, because Barack Obama has no grit and he has no character.

Life Science 101, …

The difference between white people in black people?

To answer my question, you will need three items.

1). A white person.

2). A black person.

3). A baseball bat.

Pick up the baseball bat and moved behind the white person and the black person, then reaching into the depths of your soul, swing the bat as hard as you can and bash in their skulls.

With this phase completed, move forward and remove the bone fragments.

Inside you will find the (Hue) of both brains to be the same.

Any questions?

Come back when you’ve discovered how to use your “gray” matter.

Edmund from Cork,       (America has a gun to its head).

I discovered your weblog three weeks ago and so far I’ve enjoyed the larger half. Question, is there nothing you keep in your pocket?

I’ve traveled to America twice, once in 1982, during a break from University and again in 2003 to interview for a job that I didn’t acquire.

Ronald Reagan was your president on my first visit and your country was at the top of the charts.

On my second visit George W. Bush was your president and although his abilities were measured with a very short stick, America was still at the top of the page.

Concerning your current leader’s station in the world, there is no longer a stick short enough and America’s page in the wastebasket.

For Americans to allow themselves this embarrassment, you deserve a gun to your head.

readers forum - as I see it 3

Hello Edmund, thank you for visiting my site and thank you for your narrative, which brings me to my question; “Is there nothing you keep in your pocket. 🙂

With my focus primarily on America and relating (my opinion) to the home team, I don’t spend a lot of time concerned with “our” (lead from behind) “Commander in Chief’s” status across the water.

Or at least I didn’t, until last week when my friend Kenny from Tehachapi sent me a junk email with a bevy of British and European political cartoons that I “mirthfully ” posted in my offering on Thursday entitled; “Fraidy Cat.”

Drop by for tea anytime, Chuck.

Anthony from Ventura,   (America has a gun to its head).

I found your blog while researching for a paper I’m doing on guns in America and if I didn’t believe in karma before, I do now.

Until I stumbled across your blog on Wednesday, I was sure that I was the only one that thought Judge Jeanine would be a great president.

I TiVo her show every Saturday night and I keep them, I have them all. If you ever need to reference something she said, call me.

readers forum - as I see it 3

Hello Anthony, thank you for stumbling across my site and thank you for your narrative.

I’ve been an avid fan, and a “Champion” of Judge Pirro for more than two years and I have heralded (my opinion) that she should be the next resident at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., Washington D.C., 20500 in more than a few of my offerings in that time.

Deborah from Charleston,     (Conundrum, Hole vs Whole).

First let me say that your style of writing and then explaining what you’ve written is most wonderful. I’ve never cared much for reading anything other than fiction, mostly romance and adventure novels.

Because folks who write about what’s going on in the world in newspapers and magazines never explain their adjectives.

I voted for Barack Obama because all my friends said he was going to change the country into a better place to live.

What Obama didn’t do was tell anyone that the only one he was concerned with providing a better life, was himself and his family.

I can’t speak for the rest of the folks who voted for him, but for me I’ve never felt so betrayed.

I am now a registered independent, and I will never vote for another Democrat as long as I live.

readers forum - as I see it 3

Hello Deborah, thank you for visiting my site, ..thank you for your appreciation and for your narrative.

With that said, I make no secret of my admiration for the Constitution and believing that if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it.

Homo sapiens, and/or, human beings have been confused over (want) and (need) since the beginning of time.

“Want” is a powerful (lure), not as powerful as (greed), albeit at least (in my opinion) “want” is the (gateway drug) to greed and if an individual isn’t stalwart in their commitment to right, he or she can easily be seduced by the promise of more.

Barack Obama’s life as a charlatan, and/or, fraud began at his mother’s knee by both word and by deed as his mother was raised by her parents to (scam the system), depending on the charity of others for her education and for Barack’s diapers when the “love” of her (moment) deserted her and his child for himself.

harsh words - graphic 2a

According to Webster: “harsh,” adj. Unpleasantly coarse and rough.

Of course my words are harsh, they are meant to be harsh. People are not made of glass nor are they filled with pudding and marshmallows – at least they aren’t until they fall under the spell of idealistic, socialist/communist politicians who will explicate whatever they have to, ..to ride the train for free.

Barack Obama is not the only freeloader in Washington or in America, we, “we the people” are plagued by politicians that seek our support with every fiber of their being until they achieve their goal, at which point they become scarcer than a pimple on a turtles back.

(True story).

Tuesday last a little after one p.m. my phone rang and I was invited to sit in on a teleconference town hall sponsored by South Dakota Congresswoman Kristi Noem.

I was also invited to speak and I stayed on the line for forty-five minutes, assured occasionally that my wait would not be much longer.

Then Ms. Noem’s screener came on and asked me what my question was?

To which I replied; “I’d like to ask Congresswoman Noem why the federal reserve bank has never been audited and more importantly, why a private (for-profit) corporation has total control over the U.S. Treasury?

Five minutes later I was notified that Ms. Noem was out of time for answering more questions, then the fellow wished me a good day and hung up.

I voted for Ms. Noem twice, I have informed Ms. Noem in a subsequent email that I will not vote for her again.

The people we elect to public office in America are not bad people, (well not all of them). I’m not saying that you’re a bad person if you want a new car, more money and a better life.

As I stated at the onset, (want) is a powerful lure and wealth is the ultimate temptation.

The answer lies not in an Ivy League education, but in family and Christian values.

readers forum - welcome 1a

Name and Town withheld,     (Conundrum – Hole vs Whole).

The definition of the word Conundrum is: something that is puzzling or confusing.

Here are six Conundrums of socialism in the United States of America :

1. America is capitalist and greedy – yet half of the population is subsidized.

2. Half of the population is subsidized – yet they think they are victims.

3. They think they are victims – yet their representatives run the government.

4. Their representatives run the government – yet the poor keep getting poorer.

5. The poor keep getting poorer – yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about.

6. They have things that people in other countries only dream about – yet they want America to be more like those other countries.

Think about it!

And that, my friends, pretty much sums up the USA in the 21st Century.

Makes you wonder who is doing the math.

These three, sentences tell you a lot about the direction of our current government and cultural environment:

1. We are advised to NOT judge ALL Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics.

Funny how that works.

And here’s another one worth considering…

2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money. How come we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money?

What’s interesting is the first group “worked for” their money, but the second didn’t.

Think about it…..

..and Last but not least,

3. Why are we cutting benefits for our veterans, no pay raises for our military and cutting our army to a level lower than before WWII, but we are not stopping the payments or benefits to illegal aliens.

Am I the only one missing something?

Hello anonymous, thank you for dropping by and thank you for dropping off your mini manifesto…

According to Webster: “man·i·fes·to,” A public declaration of principles and policies, especially of a political nature.

Although I am aware that your manifesto is the content of a junk email currently journeying through cyberspace, it is no less appropriate to identify the current social inequality in America.

Thank you for your contribution, Chuck.

Malcolm from Wichita,                     (Fraidy Cat).

I’m eleven years old and in the sixth grade, I like history and math a lot. I also like science because science is a search for the truth.

I started reading your blog because my mom reads it, but now I read it because I like the way you mix what you write with graphics. Good job.

readers forum - as I see it 3

Hello Malcolm, thank you for your patronage and thank you for your narrative, not to forget your mother, please thank her for me as well.

If I’m not mistaken, (for the record) you’re the first preteen to comment on my blather. As I recall my “stint” as an eleven year old, politics wasn’t of much interest.

Consequently, using me as your measure, you’re six years ahead of the curve.

Excellent, I think you’re at your best when you use humor and graphics to make your point.

This is my twenty second comment in the last two years, but who’s counting 🙂

Someday I hope to see one of my comments in your forum, should I send you a caricature of myself or would you rather have a twenty?

readers forum - as I see it 3

Hello Janet, thank you for your constituency. After a quick check to understand why I haven’t noticed you earlier.

You sent this comment from your computer at work, (bad girl), shame on you.

The problem with sending comments from your computer at work is that they immediately route into spam.

Although I do check my spam, it gets a lot less attention than a comment sent from your home computer, “sorry” but that’s life in cyberspace.

Sydney from Albany,     (Mothers compared to Fathers).

You write very well, you should consider writing children’s books. Children are more suited to fables and myths. In this post you claim to believe in mother nature as the sustainer of life and God as the creator of life.

Mother nature is a mythical person created in the mind of someone with a vivid imagination. Life is simply the result of evolution, no more no less. God or gods, are characters in books of fiction.

Roshane from ?,         (America has a gun to its head).

let me say ur belief system is kind of radical because ur equating Obama with Hitler not the as the opposition but as the enemy…. he is an American first than a liberal (as u say)…

..u my friend by feeding paranoia have contributed to the cultural fringe and u also radicalized others with u…..

u know Churchill once said United we stand and divided we fall….

(Excuse me).

As ignorance is not something I consciously promote, I’d like to take a moment to clear something up for my “new friend” Roshane.

The phrase; “United we stand, divided we fall,” originated with the Greek storyteller Aesop in his fable; “The four oxen and the lion,” directly, and indirectly in his fable; “The bundle of sticks.”

The Four Oxen and the Lion, text; …

A Lion used to prowl about a field in which Four Oxen used to dwell. Many a time he tried to attack them; but whenever he came near they turned their tails to one another, so that whichever way he approached them he was met by the horns of one of them. At last, however, they fell a-quarrelling among themselves, and each went off to pasture alone in a separate corner of the field. Then the Lion attacked them one by one and soon made an end of all four.

United we stand, divided we fall.

The Bundle of Sticks, text; …

An old man on the point of death summoned his sons around him to give them some parting advice. He ordered his servants to bring in a faggot of sticks, and said to his eldest son: “Break it.”

The son strained and strained, but with all his efforts was unable to break the Bundle. The other sons also tried, but none of them was successful.

“Untie the faggots,” said the father, “and each of you take a stick.” When they had done so, he called out to them: “Now, break,” and each stick was easily broken. “You see my meaning,” said their father.

Union gives strength.

What Winston Churchill said was; “We shall not falter, we shall not fail.”

Continuing…

..but should it matter to u…well it should because the REAL ENEMY are the people at Wall Street running hedge funds or banks or corporations like Monsanto that have entered the White House with Karl Rove and never left these are the people that control our debates our speech our education our health care system everything u name it thats people u should stand upto and be angry at them…

..the fact is Karl Rove actually got Bush elected by playing on people’s fears and angry (Matthew Dowd wrote a memo on this) and he also tapped into that cultural resentment vein in America that great politicians like REAGAN KENNEDY EISENHOWER NIXON FDR all tried to avoid he [Rove] made us hate each other…

Americans used to talk politics like movies or books and they could disagree and co-exist without all the name calling…

my point is for once listen to the other side and try to reason and SEE if your VIEWS stand the test of facts and reality…

…see this poll and realize the mistake we all once make in our lifetime…. AMERICANS WERE NEVER LIKE THIS

readers forum - as I see it 3

Hello Roshane, welcome back, ..why? ..in truth, “because” I believe that your gibberish will be entertaining to my readers.

The first time you wrote I thought you were simply a young person with a lot of time on her hands perpetrating a joke.

Albeit, with this offering I realize that you are not a joke, but rather a misguided individual who needs help understanding reality from fantasy.

In your offering you group Reagan, Kennedy, Eisenhower, Nixon and FDR together as like-minded individuals, then you throw in Karl Rove as if he were somehow important enough to change the course of the Mississippi.

Karl Rove, (for what it’s worth), was nothing more than a dim shadow who whispered into the ear of a patronized imbecile. An imbecile that referred to him [Rove] as “Turd Blossom.”

George W and turd Blossom

Admirable credentials? I don’t think so!

(FYI), A turd blossom is any flowering plant that germinates with-in a Cow Pie or Buffalo Chip.

Continuing…

You articulated at one point that; …

“Americans used to talk about politics like movies or books and they could disagree and coexist without all the name-calling.”

Reality…

Politics today (are not), nor have they ever been a friendly game of checkers. Politics are, ..and “have always” been a down and dirty game of…

cutthroat poker 1

…cutthroat.

Wake up, grow up and understand that political polls are less important to the course of history than a pimple on a Pirates butt.
