Question of the Day, ..Obamacare?

care graphic

An extremely interesting word to be sure, at least for those of us that appreciate the meaning of words, and (in my humble opinion), not a word that anyone that doesn’t appreciate and have a use for words with (double meanings) would want to associate their name with.

According to Webster: “care,” (kâr) n. …

1. A burdened state of mind, as that arising from heavy responsibilities; worry.

 2. Mental suffering; grief.

3. An object or source of worry, attention, or solicitude: the many cares of a working parent.

4. Caution in avoiding harm or danger: handled the crystal bowl with care.

5. Close attention; painstaking application: painting the window frames and sashes with care. b. Upkeep; maintenance: a product for the care of fine floors; hair care products.

6. Watchful oversight; charge or supervision: left the child in the care of a neighbor.

7. Attentive assistance or treatment to those in need: a hospital that provides emergency care; to be concerned

According to Webster: “syn·o·nym,” A word having the same or nearly the same meaning as another word or other words in a language.

Accordingly, for those of you with the time and the inclination for a bit of fun with reality – place the letters “OBAMA” in front of each of the synonyms I have provided above.

Loretta from Brooklyn,           (Bleak).

I’ve been reading your weblog for three weeks now and it seems to me that you have an obsession with denying poor people the same healthcare that’s available to rich people. Why is that?

forum - response

Hello Loretta, thank you for visiting my site and thank you for comment, your opinion and your question.

I grew up during and after World War II in the 40s and 50s in a poor working family. My parents, (that’s plural), because I had both a mother and a father, (a rarity in the 21st-century).

My parents raised six children without a penny’s worth health insurance because my dad spent the Lions share of his time in the American workforce as self-employed, ..and/or, an independent contractor.

In the 40s and 50s families didn’t “run” to the neighborhood clinic every time someone stubs a toe or got a boil on their butt.

We had a medicine cabinet in our house that held alcohol, iodine, aspirin, gauze and tape, ..which took care of pretty much every hazard, and/or “boo-boo,” that befell my family, with the exception of the time my youngest brother walked into the side of a car traveling at an unsafe speed.

Not for the car, but rather for my brother who ended up with a broken arm and abrasions beyond the scope of my mom’s aspirin, gauze and tape.

A lot of folks like to tout that growing up in the 40s and 50s was a simpler less violent time, and I suppose that’s true, but simply because there were fewer people, ..not because they were better people.

Kids, (at least the ones in my neighborhood), had the same number of fists as kids everywhere. The difference, (at least in my house), we were “taught” that our hands were tools to be utilized in the pursuit of doing our chores, (not weapons), to be used for defense or aggression.

Daisy red Ryder 2a

I bought my first rifle with money earned doing chores with my hands at age five, it was a Daisy Red Ryder BB gun with a saddle ring and a likeness of Red Ryder himself pressed into the stock, ..and it was without a doubt, one of my most treasured possessions.

Since then, over the years I’ve owned more guns than a lot of small nations, and I load my own ammunition, ..but most important, ..I obey the law and since America hasn’t started selling tags for human beings, (yet), ..unlike (young folks) in many of America’s metropolitan neighborhoods, ..I’ve yet to bag myself a “Homo Sapien” over a holiday weekend.

My point, (if you’re interested), it doesn’t matter what time in history your journey takes place, if you’re a good person with minimal “common sense,” (don’t need) the government to to run your life, can provide for yourself.

My brother told me about your website in December and I’ve done my best to keep up. I’ve been old enough to vote since 1991, but I didn’t know anyone who voted, so I didn’t either.

I’ve worked most of my adult life as a waitress, which is an occupation specific to doing what you’re told, when you’re told.

I’ve been married three times, I have four children and I’m currently going through my third divorce.

I voted for Barack Obama in 2008 because my husband at the time voted for Barack Obama. Although I didn’t finish high school because I got pregnant, I’m not a stupid person, I just never shared that fact with anyone before.

Once I started reading your blog, I learned more about how America works and doesn’t work in the first 30 days, than I had in the previous 30 years and I truly thank you for that.

At the risk of sounding like a whimpering crybaby, where the hell were you when I was 15?

forum - response

Hello Samantha, thank you for visiting my site, and for your question, and for your story.

Beginning with your question, as the voting age in 1991 was 18, that would place your time of birth in 1973, …

From January 1, 1973 until March 3, 1973 I drove a truck delivering feed to Turkey growers in Southern California.

On March 3, 1973, I “exuberantly” began my employment with Rockwell International Corp, “North America Aviation Division” in Palmdale California as a member of the team building the B-1 “Lancer” Bomber…

B-1 Lancer 1a

I worked for Rockwell for eighteen years until a back injury that required surgery put me on a downhill path to medical retirement, and/or, (out to pasture).

Anyway, as I interpret your parting words, I believe that you are asking for my advice and that is appreciated.

Accordingly, I’ll impart to you what I impart to everyone that seeks my advice on which party or which candidates I think our best for America?

First and foremost, research, be aware of the individual man or woman that is seeking your vote.

Then when you enter the voting booth with your ballot, check for any and all the names preceded by the word (incumbent), and immediately disregard them as a choice.

America is a Democratic Republic, wherein the power of the government is derived from the public, (that’s you and me), “We the People” the people that have been disrespected in the process for more than 100 years now and that, (at least in my opinion), is more than long enough for any group of Homo sapiens to tolerate disrespect.

When it comes to democracy, money only matters to those who disrespect democracy. Without diminishing the power of money, as we all know it to be our life’s blood in our current society.

According to Webster: “cur·rent,” (in context) The present; here and now.

Which is (irresponsible), accordingly, what America needs, are folks who understand and care about the fact that they, their friends and their families are not what America is about.

No individual, man or woman that has ever ran for or held the office of President of the United States has been less forthcoming with who he is than Barack Hussein Obama.

Politicians everywhere, “at all levels,” ..have but one interest, (getting the job) and keeping the job.

Currently politicians cater to big money interests to get the job, – what “we the people” have to do is enlightened those that want to occupy a (public office), that they work for the people, “all the people,” not just the people with money.

If the people in this great nation ever come together and (pink slip) every man woman and child that draws a salary from our federal treasury – “We the People” will once again be in charge.

In closing; to relieve you, (and anyone else) from the burden of inquiring where in our federal government that we employ a child, I give you…

Or how about waking up one morning to find out that there’s only one watch repairman left in America?

Question: If there was only one watch repairman in America, how long do you think it would take to get your watch fixed?

Think about it, if there were only one watch repair man in the entire nation, he would have total autonomy as to when he’d work on your watch and how much he charge for his work.

As I have announced more times than will fit into a shoebox that nobody working for us, “we the people,” had anything to do with writing Barack Obama’s signature legislation, and/or, (The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act). So I’m not going to throw it in your face again.

I’m going to present it to you in a series of common sense questions.

Question: If you owned a bakery, would your purpose be to…

A. Provide bread, rolls and cupcakes to your friends and neighbors at no cost?

B. Provide your community with bread, rolls and cupcakes at the cost of your ingredients?

C. Sell your bread, rolls and cupcakes at a profit so you could pay your rent and feed your family?

The patient protection and affordable care act was written by a number of attorneys working for the insurance industry, it was not written by Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi.

Insurance companies are in business, and like any business, they are in business to make a profit.

However (unlike) any other business, insurance companies by law are allowed to keep two sets of books. One set for the (I.R.S.) that provides premiums received and claims paid.

The second set, (a private and/or, secret set) provide their assets and profits from loans.

Insurance companies in America (by law), are second only in power and being protected by (our shadow government) the establishment within our government that is, and has always been denied.

Our Constitution “as penned by our founding fathers” was drawn to provide freedom and an opportunity to compete for the American dream, (a dream and a promise) that brought men and women of every ethnicity and from every walk of life and from every continent by the millions to participate.

Between our government and the money lenders America’s middle class has all but disappeared into a veil of regulations and debt that will guarantee the sovereignty of the world’s money lenders into the next millennium unless we, “we the people” of America wake up and dispatch the snake that is waiting in the grass to eat our grandchildren.

Although I have heralded this many times before, it is worth heralding again. Barack Obama is a communist, his purpose and his agenda in life is to see America stripped to the bone.

destroying the Constitution 1

Question: How can one man take down a nation?

One man can’t, but then Barack Obama is not just one man, Obama not only has the full support of the (CFR) the Council on foreign relations, he also has the support of the Brookings institute, and/or, (liberal central), and the Rothschilds, which added to the 50% of American’s citizens that have chosen to relinquish their constitutional rights for the promise of a free lunch, Barack Obama is indeed not one man.

The Constitution guarantees a man or a woman in America an opportunity to compete for the American dream. However what Barack Obama has planned for America is a nightmare beyond even the wildest imagination.

In my journey, I worked with a black man who once told me the N-word was the stupidest word in the English language. By his analysis, what makes the word stupid is the fact, that like all slang words, it has no meaning in reality, all it’s power is derived from ignorance.

There are innumerable ministers from shore to shore in this nation that teach the gospel of Jesus Christ with aplomb, and/or, with “confidence” that the words of God delivered to Moses on Mount Sinai hold meaning and truth.

Nowhere in the “Ten Commandments,” or to my knowledge in the Holy Bible, is it written that anyone has any advantage in heaven or on earth due to the color of his or her skin.

As a child I spent many a Sunday in church with my mother and baby sister – not by personal choice, – but rather due to the fact that I fell into the category of (little), ..while my two older brothers were classified as (big), and/or, old enough to accompany my dad to our local airport where he would blow the dust off of his “Boeing PT 13 – Stearman…

Would I have rather gone to the airport with my father?

But alas, ..when I was a child, ..children did what they were told.

In church, I learned about Jesus and his disciples, and how he fed the multitudes with a single loaf of bread. I learned about the Last Supper, and how Jesus sacrificed his life so that we, those who believe in God could be absolved of all our sins, so we could pass through the Pearly Gates upon our death to have everlasting life in heaven. I also learned how Jesus loved everyone equally, no matter what?

In school, one of the first the first things I learned, (at age 5), was the Pledge of Allegiance, – (the 1923 version).

“I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

The Pledge of Allegiance is an expression of loyalty to the federal flag and the republic of the United States of America, originally composed by Francis Bellamy in 1892 and formally adopted by Congress as the pledge in 1942.

The official name, “The Pledge of Allegiance” was adopted in 1945, with the final change in the language coming on “Flag Day” 1954 when the words “under God” were added.

“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

Whether or not Barack Obama/Berry Soetoro ever recited the Pledge of Allegiance as provided above while attending his Muslim elementary school in Jakarta, Indonesia, I have no knowledge. Albeit, if I were to take a guess…

Currently, there is a push on to raise the minimum wage…

raise minimum wage 1

Giving people more money that isn’t worth anything, isn’t a solution. It’s simply adds to the problem of inflation, making those in control of “our” money wealthier while making those of us who depend on money less viable in the marketplace.

In my formative years, one of my mother’s favorite phrases was; “waste not want not.”

By today’s standards my mother would be considered “old-fashioned,” albeit when my mother went to our pantry it was never empty.

waste not want not

According to Webster: “pan·try,” (in context) A small room off the kitchen where food is stored.

Both my mother and my aunt, who were very close, both had a full understanding and appreciation for Mason jars.

Mason jars in a row

According to Webster:Mason jar n. A wide-mouthed glass jar with a screw top, used for canning and preserving food. Named for [John L. Mason (1832-1902), American inventor.]

Preparing and storing food in Mason jars was no easy task, however since folks weren’t distracted by iPhones and iPads when I was a lad, “tasks” were an excellent way to past time.

By today’s standards in my formative years, my family could have been the (poster child) for poverty. My father was in the Army air Corps, so we lived in government housing one step up from a Quonset hut…

(Quonset hut).

Of course, the great thing about being a child in the 1940s, I didn’t know I was poor. My mother knew what a ration card was, but I didn’t.

By the time my parents enrolled me in school, the war was over, my father was home making two dollars a day working construction seven days a week, ..and another (two dollars) at night working as a night watchman.

Accordingly we lived in a real house with a real yard with real grass and real trees.

Consequently, if you take the time to think about it, America doesn’t need a larger government with more entitlements…

We have a Federal Department of Education, yet the “Lions share” of (America’s children) and (America’s adults) ..are absent the knowledge that “our” Treasury Department isn’t allowed to access “our” treasury.”

To anyone who may be curious as to why I keep hammering away at “our” government and America’s subordinates to the Rothschild family, (it’s simple), the Constitution dictates that Congress is charged with the “duty” of (issuing and valuing) America’s currency and our founding fathers stipulated that Congress could not contract, and/or, (outsource) that duty.

This nation, as prescribed by our founding fathers is meant to provide opportunity and freedom from tyranny…

According to Webster: “tyr·an·ny,” A government in which a single ruler is vested with absolute power.

Thomas Jefferson - against tyra

wadda you think

Barack Obama’s (ACA), is and has always been his (single most important) agenda. Barack Obama is a Marxist, who like every Marxist communist who influenced his life believes that only a single individual with unlimited power to rule is the answer to inequality.

Which of course, brings me to question; Why does Barack Obama and his family live like “monarchs” when those who paved the way for his ascension are forced to live hand to mouth?

Our founding fathers were disciplined men with vision and wisdom beyond themselves and their personal desires. They joined to create the foundation of what would become the richest, freest, most innovative and most powerful nation on this planet.

Men like George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, men who toed the line so that future generations in this nation could enjoy opportunities and freedoms unavailable to the citizens of any other nation.

Democratic Republic - page brea

A republic is a form of government in which the power is exercised by the public at large, and affairs of state are a concern of the (public sphere), rather than privately accommodated (such as through inheritance or divine mandate).

In modern times the definition of a republic is also commonly limited to a government which (excludes) a monarch.

King Barack 2

According to Webster:“mon·arch,” (in context) One that surpasses others in power or preeminence.

Currently, 135 of the world’s 206 sovereign states use the word “republic” as part of their official names.

Both modern and ancient republics vary widely in their ideology and composition. In classical and medieval times the archetype of all republics was the Roman Republic, which referred to Rome in between the period when it had kings, and the period when it had emperors.

The Italian medieval and Renaissance political tradition today referred to as “civic humanism” is sometimes considered to derive directly from Roman republicans such as Sallust and Tacitus.

However, Greek-influenced Roman authors, such as Polybius and Cicero, sometimes also used the term as a translation for the Greek politeia which could mean regime generally, but could also be applied to certain specific types of regime which did not exactly correspond to that of the Roman Republic.

Republics were not equated with classical democracies such as Athens, but had a democratic aspect.

Republics became more common in the Western world starting in the early 19th century, eventually displacing absolute monarchy as the most common form of government.

In modern republics the executive is legitimized both by a constitution and by popular suffrage.

Montesquieu included both democracies, where all the people have a share in rule, and aristocracies or oligarchies, where only some of the people rule, as republican forms of government.

Most often a republic is a sovereign state, but there are also sub-sovereign state entities that are referred to as republics, or which have governments that are described as ‘republican’ in nature.

For instance, Article IV of the United States Constitution “guarantee[s] to every State in this Union a Republican form of Government”.

Similarly, the Soviet Union was constitutionally described as a “unitary, federal multinational state”, composed of 15 republics, two of which – Ukraine and Belarus – had their own seats. (Source Wikipedia).

When it comes to America and government, we the people are charged with a responsibility, we the people pay the bills, accordingly it is our duty to maintain vigilance over those that we employ.

Example: A responsible parent not only knows where his or her child is, they are responsible to make sure their children understand (the value of their labor) as well as making sure that their children understand that they need to turn out the lights when they’re not using them.

Jefferson Quote: …

“If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered…

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies… The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.”

Obama - I won Graphic 1a

Abraham Lincoln said; “A house divided against itself cannot stand.”

Question: When is America going to wake up? Between the socialist/communist doctrine of the Obama administration and the (financial) tyranny of the Federal Reserve Bank, if Americans don’t stand up and stand up it soon, America as prescribed by our founding fathers is doomed to the fate of Pompeii.
