During a Monday visit to Monticello, Thomas Jefferson’s Virginia home, President Barack Obama declared that, as president, he “can do whatever” he wants.
The statement was (presumably) intended as a joke….
In (my unequivocal and fervent opinion), everything Barack Obama says or does would be a joke if his ideology and his policies didn’t have America “divided” to (equal the division) America faced just prior to our civil war in 1860.
“At 4:45 [Obama] and [visiting French President Francois] Hollande walked out from a portico and strolled in Front of your pool with Leslie Bowman, president of the Monticello Foundation,” wrote French journalist Tangi Quéméner in the presidential “pool report” distributed to journalists Monday afternoon. “Looking at a terrace she said that Jefferson loved to admire the landscape from there. [Obama] said that he’d like to take a look and seemed delighted to ‘break the protocol.’”
“‘That’s the good thing as a President, I can do whatever I want,’ he quipped, walking to the terrace with his guest and Ms. Bowman.”
Jefferson was a noted Francophile and served as the American ambassador to France after the Revolutionary War. (Source,dailycaller.com).
Amusing right? One might come to that conclusion if Berry wasn’t arbitrarily accustomed to “habitually” abusing (his) “executive powers” by unilaterally changing (his) “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act” (a constitutional law),
Only moments before our “jocular” Commander-in-Chief cracked (his) “joke,” the White House announced it would again be circumventing Congress to delay the “Berrycare” mandate for some businesses.
I’ve got a pen and a phone,” Barry ranted at his State of the Union Address. “We’re,” (the collective him), “not just going to be waiting for legislation in order to make sure that we’re providing Americans the kind of help they need”…
When an individual like (Berry/Barack) who has never known anything in his life other than those things that were provided to him by taxpayer dollars, it’s a (no-brainer) to conclude that his ideology and his policies are guided by his belief that big government and taxpayer dollars are the answer to people’s needs.
