Yesterday morning while I was writing about the current and “unimaginable” new “craze” in America, (Knock-Out Games), “our” (in my considered opinion) …
..totally “corrupt and self-aggrandizing” Commander-in-Chief” Barack Obama was awarding America’s “Medal of Freedom” to sixteen distinguished American citizens, ..(via) one venue or another.
Not that I’m anti-recognition, and/or, awards bestowed upon deserving individuals, after all…
..recognition and “Blue Ribbons” are an indispensable part of Americana.
During my service to America between 1964 and 1966 I was the recipient of both a “Commendation” for (heroism) for my part in a battle that took place in a peanut field just outside the province of (Binh Duong), in South Vietnam.
I was also awarded the Purple Heart (upon the back side of which is inscribed: (for military merit) for a “Boo-Boo” and/or, mishap that occurred during that battle.
According to Webster: “mer·it,” (in context) Deserving praise or approval.
(Truism); There is nothing praiseworthy or worthwhile about being a target, – especially one that “performs” as the fellow shooting at you intended.
Question: Do I hold “esteem” for my Purple Heart?
Absolutely,- Right (below) the “esteem” I hold for the fifty-eight thousand plus young American men who have their names etched on the long black wall in Washington D.C.
According to Webster: “pride,” (in context) A sense dignity or value; respect.
Question: Am I proud of a President or a Nation that issues “Metals of Freedom” while numerous (honest) “God-fearing” American citizens are being viciously attacked on the streets of their communities with impunity.
In fact, it actually makes me question what service I provided to America by fighting communism in Vietnam…
..when (card-carrying communists) are not only welcomed to teach in our universities, ..they are “welcome to serve” in the offices and walk the halls of “our” Nation’s Capitol as well.
The following are the (liberal), and I mean that literally, picks for this years “Medal of Freedom” recipients…
Jose Mario Molina
It would have been a (very simple task) to add the event or contribution each of the above people provided to deserve their “medal of freedom.”
Albeit, (at least in my considered opinion), since not one of Obama’s recipients did anything that prevented the attack…
..on this woman, (not) one of them deserves “my” attention.
Without decent law-abiding people, ..there is no community, without community, ..there is no nation, ..without a nation, ..politicians have less value than bellybutton lint.
Truth forges understanding, I’ll be back tomorrow
