Stephen Nardizzi

(Steven Nardizzi – CEO Wounded Warrior Project).

“We agree that America is not currently displaying its finest hour. However we don’t believe that you are displaying your finest hour either when you disparage the good work of the wounded warriors project. You should be ashamed.”

According to Wikipedia; …

Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is a veterans service organization that offers a variety of programs, service and events for wounded veterans of the military actions following the events of 9/11/2001.

It operates as a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization with a mission to “honor and empower Wounded Warriors” of the United States Armed Forces, as well as provide services and programs for the family members of its registered “alumni,” as its registered veterans are called.

WWP states its vision is to “foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history”. WWP works to raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of severely injured service men and women, to help severely injured service members aid and assist each other, and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs.

As of August 1, 2013, WWP serves 35,648 registered alumni and 4,181 registered members, …

In 2012, WWP spent $114,817,090 on programs in support of wounded veterans, their families and their caregivers, while contributing “nearly $5 million in grants to other charities, including the American Red Cross and Resounding Joy, a music therapy group in California, and also provided about $880,000 to nearly 100 veterans in the form of college scholarships and stipends for its year-long TRACK Program, which helps veterans transition to college and the workplace.

WWP has also provided funding to, and partnered with, Operation Homefront to “extend emergency financial assistance to military service members and veterans who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound, which was not due to their own misconduct, co-incident to their military service on or after September 11, 2001 and their families.

This emergency assistance will be in the form of cash grants paid to service providers to cover Service members’ most basic of needs, including food, rent and utilities. (Source, Wikipedia).

Fact: As of August 2012 Steven Nardizzi’s salary is $311,538 a year.

Doing the math; Steven Nardizzi’s salary requires “16,396 +” donations of ($19.00) to equal his (yearly salary) of $311,538.00.

Fact: After two hours of research on the web I can find (no record) of Stephen Nardizzi ever serving in any branch of the military.

My personal conclusion; Irregardless of the rhetoric touting Steven Nardizzi has “a special affinity” for helping wounded servicemen and women, it is (my considered opinion) ..that “Steven Nardizzi” (like the majority of his ilk) has a much greater affinity for U.S. currency.

As, (in my opinion) do the other individuals listed below who all make six figure salaries..

Wounded Warrior Project’s Executive Staff…

  • Steven Nardizzi, Esq., Executive Director
  • Albion Giordano, Deputy Executive Director
  • Ronald W. Burgess, Chief Financial Officer
  • Jeremy Chwat, Chief Program Officer
  • Adam Silva, Chief Development Officer
  • John Hamre, Executive Vice President, Direct Response
  • Ayla Hay, Executive Vice President, Communications
  • John Molino, Executive Vice President, Economic Empowerment
  • Bruce G. Nitsche, Executive Vice President, Special Projects
  • Ryan Pavlu, Executive Vice President, Warrior Engagement
  • John Roberts, Executive Vice President, Mental Health and Warrior Engagement
  • Richard Stieglitz, Executive Vice President, Physical Health & Wellness
  • Jonathan Sullivan, Executive Vice President, Development

Fact: America’s military personnel, healthy, ill, ..or wounded, are supported (financially) by all American citizens who are “gainfully employed” and paid taxes.

America’s wounded warriors (are not) supported by Steven Nardizzi.

Question: If America’s wounded warriors (are not) supported by “wounded warrior project,” who is supported by wounded warrior project?

Stephen Nardizzi

(Steven Nardizzi and company).

Truth forges understanding, I’ll be back tomorrow
