Question of the Day, – George does it again..

Duba does it again 1

Is “George” ever gonna step back and let Barack do his job?

According to an insider report from ( ..that I received late yesterday in my email, ..marked; …

Enlightened me, the (cold hard facts) that Barack Obama is still issuing accolades to Americans with one hand, ..while stabbing them in the back with the other.

Obama Slashes Pay Raises for Military..

President Obama has told Congress he will cap next year’s pay raise for U.S. military personnel at 1 percent instead of boosting pay by 1.8 percent as called for by a federal law.

The president’s move will negatively impact American combat troops scheduled to remain in Afghanistan through 2014.

The federal law says military pay raises must be based on the Employment Cost Index compiled by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which ties military raises to private sector pay growth.

Using Barack Obama’s personal history as my measure, I am not at all shocked or surprised that he has “chosen” to break another of America’s laws.

According to Webster: “law,” A rule of conduct or procedure established by custom, agreement, or authority. Barack Obama (undoubtedly) believes himself to be the authority in America, instead of “our” Constitution, why would anyone be surprised that he isn’t interested in enforcing any of America’s laws, ..except of course, ..for the laws that he believes worthy of enforcement, specifically Obamacare…

Obamacare - pixie dust 1

..while he and his “Jack-booted” administration, ..ignore our Second Amendment, our immigration laws, and pretty much every law on the books that pertain to an American citizen’s right to privacy.

Under that formula, military personnel should be getting a 1.8 percent pay raise beginning in January 2014, CNS News reported.

However the law also states that the president can (inform) Congress of an alternative pay adjustment… ( if ), ..there is a

“National Emergency,” ..or (serious economic condition) that would affect the “general welfare,” …

Obama's general welfare 1a

(In my humble opinion) can bet your “Sweet behind” that “General Welfare,” who has never served one day in the military won’t see one penny diverted from his mailbox.

..the president considers the pay adjustment which would otherwise be required by this section in any year to be inappropriate.”

Obama wrote to congressional leaders: “I am strongly committed to supporting our uniformed service members, who have made such great contributions to our nation over the past decade of war. As our country continues to recover from serious economic conditions affecting the general welfare, however, we must maintain efforts to keep our nation on a sustainable fiscal course.”

it's quite simple really 2a

He also asserted that his decision “will not materially affect the federal government’s ability to attract and retain well-qualified members” of the military…

No problem 1

The House passed a bill in July authorizing the 1.8 percent raise, but the Senate has set the raise at 1 percent as recommended by Obama.

Military pay rose 1.7 percent this year and 1.6 percent in 2012.

Retired Air Force Col. Mike Hayden, director of government relations for the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), calculated that the reduced pay raise could cost an officer with 10 years of service about $52 a month next year, or $8,000 over the remaining years of his or her career. It would also cost a service member $20,000 in retirement pay.

Hayden wrote on the MOAA website: “Over the past 12 years, Congress worked hard to fix the 13.5 percent pay gap (and resulting retention problems) caused by repeatedly capping military raises below private-sector pay growth in the 1980s and 1990s. (Source,

“History has shown that once Congress starts accepting proposals to cap military pay below private-sector growth, pay caps continue until they have weakened retention and readiness.”

strong jawed - steely eyed 2 - Ob

But then, ..with a steely eyed, ..strong-jawed, ..stand up and back ‘em down “Commander-in-Chief” like Barack in charge, I can’t imagine why America currently employs an Army?

Question: (an easy one); How many of you have (not) heard the cliché;

water seeks its own level 1a

Barack Obama (in my considered opinion), is one of the most insipid individuals that I have ever had the misfortune to encounter in my 71 years on this planet.

Fact: The majority of Homo sapiens, ..and/or, (folks) born in America have not yet been pushed beyond their limit, the majority, ..and/or,  a Bona fide American isn’t the wimp’ish byproduct of government handouts.

Historically, true Americans have always toed the line, even when the odds were overwhelmingly against them. The men who suffered the winter at Valley Forge, the men who stood and died to the last man at the Alamo, and the millions who have taken up arms sense on foreign soil to defeat tyranny.

The tragedy, ..America has not only invited a tyrant to sit at the head of its table, ..(sadly) ..half of America’s population believes that he belongs there.

Do you suppose that’s George’s fault too?

The last word; Again, ..for you diehard liberals who refused to see the handwriting on the wall, history will record Barack Obama’s failings, ..not only as the “President” of the United States, ..but as a failure among men as well, he will undoubtedly continue to chip away at America’s Constitution and America’s freedoms until the last minute of the last day he holds our highest office.

Whether that day will be in January 2017, ..or before? Will depend entirely upon the timeliness of America’s citizenry becoming aware of the damage he is doing and has done.

Postscript: Barack Obama ( is ) America’s National Emergency !

Truth forges understanding, I’ll be back tomorrow
