To preface my reply; Twenty or thirty years ago I would not have had an answer to my question, 20, ..or 30 years ago, avenue to enjoyment, amusement, and pleasure was via the buck, ..lettuce, ..cabbage,, ..tender, ..jack, ..scratch, ..skins, ..loot, ..lucre,…

According to Webster: “mon·ey,” (In context) An amount of cash.

Of course since “our” (ever upwardly mobile) Congress got together one morning more than 60 years ago and decided that the vast ocean of money set aside by Franklin Delano Roosevelt in 1935 under the auspices of the Social Security act. (pub.l74-271) was beyond count, “they” (the collective) “they” needed to get their (collective) hands on “our” ..yours and mine, ..collected dollars.

Question: “Who isn’t having fun yet?

I also spend a part of my early mornings surfing between broadcast and cable channels on my flatscreen in a quest to ascertain whether or not the crop of available talking heads have any new rhetoric worth repeating?

This morning’s offering from the available talking heads of course was pretty much standard fare, ..and/or, (rehashed) rhetoric from the melting pot.

America’s going to hell in a handbag, empty handbag!

It’s not Barack Obama’s fault, (from the left).

..and of course: He’s had four years, it’s time for him to own it, (from the right).

Then a bit of levity as someone introduced the phenomenon of Honey boo-boo.

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo is a reality television program on TLC that features six-year-old child beauty pageant participant Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, along with her mother June Shannon, father Mike Thompson and her three older sisters.

The show is mostly filmed in and around the family’s hometown in rural McIntyre, Georgia, ..a town in Middle Georgia east of Macon.

The Thompsons originally gained fame appearing on TLC’s Toddlers & Tiaras, which follows the lives of child beauty pageant contestants and their families.

It has been reported that the family is paid a salary of $50,000 per episode, and Alana Thompson’s own net worth is $300,000. (Source Wikipedia).

Editorial: “In this writer’s opinion, ..while I (do not) agree with Michelle Obama’s program to mandate how many calories a child in a public school can consume. I agree less with the action of rewarding a family $50,000 an episode, ..not only to (justify), ..but to (glorify), ..the condition of being overweight and ignorant.”

 heavy on the ignorance 1a

No wonder that half of America’s population, ..(the left half), does not understand the definition of: “Affordable.”

According to Webster: “af·ford·a·ble,” That can be afforded.

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), commonly called “Obamacare” or the federal health care law, is a United States federal statute signed into law by President Barack Obama on March 23, 2010.

Together with the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act, it represents the most significant regulatory overhaul of the U.S. healthcare system since the passage of Medicare and Medicaid in 1965.

PPACA is aimed primarily at decreasing the number of uninsured Americans and reducing the overall costs of health care.

It provides a number of mechanisms, including mandates, subsidies, and tax credits, to employers and individuals in order to increase the coverage rate.

According to Webster: “in·crease,” To become greater or larger; To multiply.

According to Webster: “rate,” The cost per unit of a commodity or service.

Additional reforms are aimed at improving healthcare outcomes and streamlining the delivery of health care.

PPACA requires insurance companies to cover all applicants and offer the same rates regardless of pre-existing conditions or gender.

The Congressional Budget Office projected that PPACA will lower both future deficits and Medicare spending.

Of course it’s going to lower future Medicare spending, when you take the money away from Medicare to pay for Obama-care, Medicare will have no money to spend, ..thereby, least (according to the Obama doctrine,) Medicare will spend less.

On June 28, 2012, the United States Supreme Court upheld the constitutionality of most of PPACA in the case National Federation of Independent Business v. Sebelius.

reality 3A

If you had health insurance through your employer prior to; Barack Obama’s, “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.” ..your healthcare insurance is in jeopardy unless you are in an income bracket that will allow you to afford higher premiums.

If you did not have health insurance of any kind prior to Barack Obama’s “Patient Protection and Affordable cCre Act,” because you were not in an income bracket that allowed you to purchase health insurance, you will not be able to afford the premiums required to have health insurance under Obamacare.

Barack Obama’s “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, (no more) or (no less) ..than another idealistic (brain fart) ..expelled by a thoughtless idealistic socialist.

According to Webster: “thought·less,” Inconsiderate; careless.

According to Webster: “i·de·al·is·tic,” Of, relating to, or having the nature of an idealist.

According to Webster: “i·de·al·ist,” 1. One whose conduct is influenced by ideals that often conflict with practical considerations. 2. One who is unrealistic and impractical; a visionary.

According to Webster: “so·cial·ist,” Promoting, or practicing socialism.
