What is a Gaffe?

According to Webster: gaffe, or gaff, (in context) A clumsy social error; a faux pas.

From a recent NewsMax alert:

Romney Campaign on Damage Control As Secret Video Surfaces..

Already scrambling to steady a struggling campaign, Republican Mitt Romney confronted a new headache Monday after a video surfaced showing him telling wealthy donors that almost half of all Americans “believe they are victims” entitled to extensive government support and adding that as a candidate for the White House, “my job is not to worry about those people.”

(Sidebar) So where’s the gaffe? Other than is the stifled minds of progressive liberals who believe that we are “our brothers” keepers.

President Barack Obama’s campaign quickly seized on the video, obtained by the magazine Mother Jones and made public on a day that Romney’s campaign conceded it needed a change in campaign strategy to gain momentum in the presidential race.

(Sidebar) I agree that the Romney campaign needs a change in campaign strategy to gain momentum.

My personal thoughts, ..simply stand flat-footed, look into the public’s eyes, ..and tell the truth about our current wimpy anti-American, anti-Christian, anti-people living in poverty Commander-in-Chief.

Question: When did the truth go out of style in America?

“There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what,” Romney is shown saying in a video published by the magazine. “There are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you name it.”

(Sidebar) Mitt Romney speaks the truth, 47 percent of the American population will vote for Barack Obama no matter what. The 47 percent that, (in my considered opinion) are as anti-American and as anti-Christian as he is.

Romney said his role “is not to worry about those people. I’ll never convince them they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.”

(Sidebar) More truth! It is not the job of the President of the United States to feed, clothe, house, and burp the population after their bottle, whether their bottle be filled with milk, ..or with 80 proof bourbon.

It is the President of the United States job to protect America and make (sound) ..and (advantageous) ..decisions for the people, “We the People,” ..the rank and file, ..God fearing taxpaying citizens of this Nation who pay his salary.

Not to advance the wealth and power of the greedy and elite, (the share holders of the “Federal Reserve System,” ..who have had their greedy “praetorian,” ..and/or, ..corrupt hands, ..in “our” diminishing pockets from more than eighty years now.

According to Webster: prae·to·ri·an, (in context) Venal; corruptible.

Romney’s campaign did not dispute the authenticity of the video, instead releasing a statement seeking to clarify his remarks.

(Sidebar) Why should a man who speaks the truth despite the authenticity of the statements that he makes?

“Mitt Romney wants to help all Americans struggling in the Obama economy,” spokeswoman Gail Gitcho said. “He is concerned about the growing number of people who are dependent on the federal government.”

(Sidebar) Although I am not running for President and I have never served in any elected office, I too am concerned about the number of people who are dependent on the Federal Government.

Moreover, ..if you are a member of the human race, ..and/or walk upright with God-given common sense? You should be concerned about the growing number of people dependent on the federal government as well.

Because “we,” ..you and I are the Federal Government. The money Barack Obama is spending like a drunken sailor is our money, ..not his money.

Romney is not a secret guy no matter what some moron from mother Jones magazine may want you to believe?

Albeit, (at least in my opinion) Mitt Romney does come across as way too shy for an individual who wants to represent me and my interests in the United States and in the world.

So my advice to Mitt Romney, ..not that Mitt Romney reads my Blog, ..(which is a damn shame) ..I believe that Romney should remove his head from his armpit and concentrate on the people, ..the rank and file, ..the “men and women” who are not under Obama’s spell, ..the people who would like to go back to work, ..the people who want a job, ..the people who don’t bow and apologize to radicals and terrorists who burn our flag, ..the people that I referred to as an American, as Americans.

Think about it, I’ll be back tomorrow
