History vs Hysteria..

As a bona fide card-carrying “Septuagenarian,” ..through the medium of time, I have witnessed a fair bit of both (world and American) history. Thus, ..at least (in my humble opinion,) ..I believe myself to be a fair source of what’s going on, ..i.e., and/or, (repeating itself once again) ..in America.

According to Webster: sep·tu·a·ge·nar·i·an, A person who is 70 years old or between the ages of 70 and 80.

When it comes to the practices of those, ..(that just don’t seem to “ever” have quite enough,) ..and/or, ..greedy folks. That employ both (men and women) ..with either “celebrity status, ..or exceedingly well developed charms?)

More commonly known as actors and actresses to “hawk” and/or “peddle” ..their products or services.

Gotta pay the mortgage somehow?

William Joseph Devane (born September 5, 1937) is an American film, television and theater actor.

According to his presentation in the current Rosslyn Capital television commercial “hawking” gold coins, William DeVane has done well in his 45 year acting career.

However, ..when he rides up on screen sitting astride his stylish stallion, who the hell is he talking to? He certainly isn’t talking to me, or anyone I know, ..or, ..(at least in my humble opinion) ..none of the twenty-four million unemployed, ..or underemployed folks currently (not wondering) ..what they’re going to have for dinner tonight, ..but rather, ..wondering if they’re going to have dinner tonight?

As I brought to light in the first paragraph of my offering today, I’ve been occupying space on this planet for seventy years now, ..and in that seventy years I’ve seen this parade at least three times before.

OMG, ..the sky is falling, ..buy Gold, ..buy it Quick!

Of course, I believe to be correct, ..the current slogan; “We could possibly be seeing the end of the dollar as we know it.

I don’t know about you? ..albeit in the pasture where I graze, dollars don’t last long enough for me to get acquainted with them anymore.

Nevertheless, from a business standpoint, ..selling a (shiny coin) ..or (a shiny bar of metal) ..at an astronomically inflated price to a “witless frightened consumer” ..is good business. Especially since the price of commodities, (any and all commodities,) ..traded among Homo sapiens (are, ..have been, ..and, ..always will be subject to the law that states; “Everything that goes up, ..will come down.”

So all you proud gold owners out there, ..hang on tight when the bottom falls out.

Henry Franklin Winkler, (born 30 October 1945) is an American actor, director, producer, and author.

Winkler is best known for his role as Fonzie on the 1970’s American sitcom Happy Days. “The Fonz,” a leather-clad greaser and auto mechanic, started out as a minor character at the show’s beginning but had achieved top billing by the time the show ended.

Although, (at least in my opinion) the reverse mortgages that Henry Winkler is presently “Hawking” for one of the umpteen “Reverse Mortgage Lenders,” ..and/or (Finance Companies,) presently fowling the (mostly ignored) increments of time between “our” favored programming on the ‘ol boob tube.

The (Reverse Mortgage Scam,) ..and yes, ..I said “scam,”

(offering you a cookie) wasn’t invented to make or save the “rank and file” money. When a man, ..and/or, ..an enterprise with capital that says he, ..and/or ..it, ..is going to (help you) ..by easing your burden for (access) to your property.

If you actually believe that? Although I don’t currently have a bridge to sell you, ..for the right price I can get you one.

Which of course, ..won’t be necessary if common sense catches on in America between Now and November.

Think about it, I’ll be back tomorrow
