According to Webster: ju·ris·dic·tion, (in context) The territorial range of authority or control.

Talking Heads, ..and the reality that Merriam-Webster does not define them.

According to my (unpublished) “pearlsofprofundity” (unabashed) Dictionary: (Talking Heads,) Are a breed of elite, educated, (self-aggrandized,) ..agenda driven buffoons that receive a grand monetary compensation for confusing the public.

Question: Do talking heads have any authority?

Answer: Of course not!

Question: So why does the public listen to talking heads?

Answer: Good Question!

The world population is the sum of all humans on Earth. As of today, it is estimated to number 7.01 billion by the United States Census Bureau (USCB). The USCB estimates that the world population exceeded 7 billion on March 12, 2012. According to a separate estimate by the United Nations Population Fund, it reached this milestone on October 31, 2011.

Planet Earth – Population 7.01 Billion

The world population has experienced continuous growth since the end of the Great Famine and the Black Death in 1350, when it stood at around 370 million. The highest rates of growth – global increases above 1.8% per year – were seen briefly during the 1950s, and for a longer period during the 1960s and 1970s. The growth rate peaked at 2.2% in 1963, and had declined to 1.1% by 2011. Total annual births were highest in the late 1980s at about 138 million, and are now expected to remain essentially constant at their 2011 level of 134 million, while deaths number 56 million per year, and are expected to increase to 80 million per year by 2040. Current projections show a continued increase in population (but a steady decline in the population growth rate), with the global population expected to reach between 7.5 and 10.5 billion by 2050. I could be delusional, albeit, “at least in my opinion,” that’s a hell of a lot of people.

U.S. Space Shuttle

Human spaceflight (or manned spaceflight or crewed spaceflight) is space travel with humans on the spacecraft.

When a spacecraft is manned, it can be piloted directly, as opposed to machine or robotic space probes controlled remotely by humans or through automatic methods onboard the spacecraft.

The first human spaceflight was launched on April 12, 1961 by Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin. The only countries to have independent human spaceflight capability are Russia and China.

As of 2011, human spaceflights are being actively launched by the Soyuz programme conducted by the Russian Federal Space Agency and the Shenzhou program conducted by the China National Space Administration.

The U.S. lost human spaceflight launch capability upon retirement of the Space Shuttle on July 21, 2011.

Under the Bush administration, the Constellation program included plans for canceling the Shuttle and replacing it with the capability for spaceflight beyond low Earth orbit.

In the 2011 United States federal budget, the Obama administration proposed “canceling” Constellation in part due to Constellation being (over budget) and behind schedule while not innovating and investing in critical new technologies.

(Sidebar) With a 16 Trillion dollar deficet, ..I wasn’t aware that Barack Obama understood what (over budget) meant.

Under the new plan, NASA would rely on transportation services provided by the private sector, such as Space X’s Falcon 9. The period between the retirement of the Shuttle and the initial operational capability of new systems (either Constellation or the new commercial proposals), similar to the gap between the cancellation of Apollo and the first Space Shuttle flight, is often referred to as the “human spaceflight gap.”

Human Spaceflight Gap

In recent years there has been a gradual movement towards more commercial forms of spaceflight. A number of non-governmental startup companies have sprung up in recent years, hoping to create a space tourism industry.

(Sidebar) Not that I’m against progress in space, ..albeit, deferring to my God-given “Common Sense,” with this nation, “America,” ..speeding on a collision course with bankruptcy, ..because “in my opinion,” ..our present administration is totally (out to lunch) with its philosophy,…

Obama – (out to Lunch)

..and (over the moon) with its spending,…

Spending – (Over the Moon)

..developing an industry that no “rank-and-file” taxpaying man or woman on the planet could afford to patronize, ..is total insanity.

With its 2011 budget proposals released in early February 2010, the Obama administration is moving towards a model where commercial companies would supply NASA with transportation services of both crew and cargo to low Earth orbit. The vehicles used for these services would then serve both NASA and potential commercial customers.

NASA intends to spend $6 billion in the coming years to develop commercial crew vehicles, using a model similar to that used under (COTS.) Commercial Orbital Transportation Services.

(Sidebar) That’s $6 Billion taxpayers dollars, ..with a Capital “B”, ..to develop a “Commercial Enterprise,” ..that will be unaffordable to the taxpaying investor.

Question: How many people out there reading this believe that it’s a good idea for Barack Obama, (via NASA,) to throw $6 billion at another Solyndra?

Explosion of taxpayers dollars

Question: With 7 Billion people vying for the resources on this planet, ..does (anything) that Barack Obama has done, ..or is currently promising to do, ..to get reelected, ..or for any other reason, ..make any sense to you?

Better Question: With 7 Billion people vying for the resources on this planet, ..does (anything) that (any administration) has done for the last 50 years, ..make sense to you?

(In my Humble Opinion) If you answered “yes” ..to either of my previous Questions, ..(sadly) ..you place no value on yourself, ..albeit you have “tremendous” value to both political parties.

Currently, ..one in the same.

Summation, I’m sick to death of providing for a group of pompous individuals who neither have the ability or the inclination to plant a seed, ..change a tire, ..or understand a grocery receipt…

According to Webster: spring-clean·ing, A thorough cleaning, ..especially of the (White House) residence.

Think about it, I’ll be back tomorrow
